Audiobook addiction.. any other sufferers out there? Addicted to Wolf Hall by Hilary Mantel.

I listened to the abridged version so many times that now I'm onto the unabridged! Have never downloaded an unabridged before, nearly £17, am I mad? I think it's a kind of madness isn't it?
Am I alone?
I love this book so much.
Can't wait for the sequel.

We listen to audiobooks regularly and usually go for unabridged. We hunt for things that are a lot of hours and not too expensive and have found some bargains at times, I will have to look at what we've got. I have also just signed up to our local library's audiobook service which is FREE!! and has good books you can have for at least 3 weeks (then you can extend it if you want). I haven't quite got into it yet, need a bit of time to browse and master it. We listen to them overnight (we used to listen to the World Service) and in the car usually. We don't go classic or high brow, titles I can remember easily that we've got:

Enigma
Fatherland
The Fourth Protocol
Pompeii
The Ghost
The Afghan

Erm.......

Oh, I forgot. I also got The Complete Ripley (Patricia Highsmith) which is the BBC dramatisation, it was a reasonable price and is really good. I would love to get The Complete Smiley but its a fortune, ditto The Complete Raymond Chandler. The BBC dramatisations are really good but short unless you get something like a series of books.
