Debating Animals - the Fox and the Rat
Anyone catch this broadcast on R4 July 5th? Usually I enjoy the R4 output for being pretty balanced - especially the documentaries. But in this one exploring our attitudes to the fox and the rat and allegedly billed as a 'debate', it was made quite plain by Liddle that anyone that disliked either animal, let alone want to kill one of the precious little darlings, was either stupid or cruel.
Don't often feel compelled to start writing angry letters to radio stations but this one was exceptionally biased.
