LBC listeners: anyone know what has happened to Clive Bull?

he has been AWOL for about a week, and stand-ins (rubbish, mostly) have stopped referring to him or saying he's off sick

Is he back from holiday ? (a guess)

I saw mention on Digital Spy (but only someone saying they liked some stand-in)

He came back for one night (last Sunday) but he hasn't been back since

I don't like it, I hope he's OK

he was on last night or was it the night before, but then I think he's off again for the easter hols as he has kids

I don't hear the stand ins mention anymore when he is back - I too am worried!

Just now they said he was on holiday, but up to now 4weeks now they have been saying he was unwell, I miss him replacements Are just not the same.

That's really good news. I've been missing him a lot. No one else I've heard is a patch on him and some are so dreadful I have to tune to BBC London.

I love Clive Bull and have been listening to him on LBC for years. I am worried about him as he has been off for about a month - I hope nothing bad has happened to him.

I do like Nick Abbot, but Clive Bull is the best! What's happened to Anthony Davis, that Nick Mejerrison is total crud.

All very wierd about Mr Bull. Ive listened to him since he began his show and he's never been away so long. I hope he really is going to return

I've been wondering that again after turning on the radio in the bathroom tonight and yet again no Clive, although he was on recently for a night at least.

I turned on the other day too and it seems he is not coming back. I have been listening to LBC since I was 11 (over 30 years) and this is really sad. It is all a bit strange though as there was no warning. Either he is ill or he has had a disagreement with the management. The statement on the LBC website seems so bland - it is like something I would release if I fired someone or they left due to something like a breakdown. I can't understand why they let him go without making a big fuss of him unless this is what he wanted. He helped me survive my PND too.

WOB - me too! He kept me sane night after night from my two bad sleeping babies and toddlers, he sooth me at night and make me feel so much better. I would not dread going to bed so much knowing that I could listen to him. Am gonna send him a thank you note via LBC or I wonder if I can track down his agent?

I would like to thank him too so if you find out how to get a message to him, let me know.

I sent a card to LBC, don't like Anthony Davis, all too serious with too many ranters on the radio, Clive used to inject some light heartedness and fun stuff. Have switched to Tony Livesy on Radio 5 Live!
