R4 Cavity on now - very weird!

I've heard this play before. It's one of the oddest plays I've ever listened to on R4

It's good that it was on again. I first listened to this a year or so ago I think. I've thought about it from time to time since and sometimes wondered if I actually imagined it

How HOW did the writer come up with such a strange story??

I know!

I suppose it was quite well done; funnyish and quite entertaining. But how did this get comissioned and given a primetime slot over every other submission?

And how did they persuade the divine Julian Rhind-Tutt to act out fellatio with a 'bag-lady' in a cavity wall!

Anyone reading this who did not hear the play will be completely !

I heard it a year or so ago, and then caught the end of it yesterday - was just coming on here to post this link and recommend it to others.

Brilliant story, very well acted and produced. Love the squeaking of the little wheels in the cavity.

I listened on iplayer last night between 3 and 4 during a mega feed. Better than normal r4 drama. I would have preferred a bit more sting in the tale though.
