Anybody hear the afternoon play on Friday?

The afternoon play on Friday seemed to feature Kenton Archer with a whole range of dodgy accents from an Italian to a strange Greek/Cockney cross.

I turned off.

I heard that one! Radio "forrin" accents are really annoying. I listened to one the other week in the evening, she was supposed to be Polish but it was a general anyaccent. She even said "ow yoo say" at one point.

Really wierd, wasn't it? Kept wondering what accent they were aiming at as it really wasn't convincing Italian. Think it's a series, and will be on again next Friday. I'm not convinced I'll be listening, but I do want to know what it was all about...

I wasn't really paying attention at the time. I just noticed it was Kenton, and then some ridiculous accents, which reminded me of the terrible play from the other night.

I do get terribly confused when I hear Archers actors pop up in other things... :o

Perhaps Jolene has fallen for his swarthy Itanain charms. :)
