Why isnt she that keen on Emma....and why does she think the sun shines out of Nic's arse?

She still blames Emma for the rift between her sons. Also when she broke her arm (or was it wrist?) Nic helped her a lot but Emma didn't. Now she thinks that Emma is jealous that she and Nic get on so well.

She's right - Emma is jealous. She's a miserable sourpuss too, and Nic is a ray of sunshine.

She wasn't bullying George, I don't think. She was trying to look after 3 kids with no support from her partner or his family, and getting near the end of her tether. I think the point is that once Clarrie realised things were wrong, things have improved for Nic substantially.
