Whose bright idea was it to move these two to daytime on 6 music? I work during the day and don't have access to a radio, and I have to work for an hour or two most evenings, how am I going get through without listening to their brilliantly inane babble and fantastic music? What will happen to the Chain?! And Jo Whiley is to replace them - why?!?! I haven't felt this gutted since Mark & Lard finished on Radio 1 [looks for coffin-dodger-stuck-in-the-past emoticon but can't find one]

I know! I was v disappointed. I love their show and find Jo Whiley v annoying. It'll probably make me tune in to 6 music more often though. But evening car journeys just won't be the same.

Oh, that's a shame. One of the great excitments of my recent life has been discovering Radcliffe and Maconie on the radio.

Mind you, I mostly listen on iPlayer anyway.

I can't believe they are getting rid of them but keeping Steve Wright. He must have dodgy photo's of the Radio 2 boss.

I feel the same!! They make evening tedium of washing up/cooking etc. bearable...

Oh no! I can't stand Whiley and have to turn off the radio whenever I hear her. I won't have anything to listen too on the way home from work now

My favourite presenters are going!!

All I can say is thank goodness for DAB (in my car) and the iPlayer (rest of the time)

I found it traumatic enough when Radcliffe (and Lard) left the breakfast show on radio 1!! (I could cope when they left the afternoon show because I knew they would still be around IYSWIM)
