zisforzebra · 09/12/2010 20:24

After tonight's episode I think that David Archer might me the christmas murder victim.

The guy he was talking to about the stolen hay sounded very threatening and sinister. I think he'll come back to Brookfield, David will confront him and be killed. You heard it hear first folks. Grin

My problem is that there would have to be an Emmerdale-style mass slaughter, or maybe a Brookside plague, to kill all the people who drive me mad.
What would simultaneously take out (in order of annoyingness) Helen, Cathy, Lizzie'n'Nigel, Shula, Pip, Jim, Bert Fry, Pat, Matt, JennyDarling, Peggy, Sooooosan and Willyum? It's a conundrum......Xmas Wink

Abr1de · 16/12/2010 16:36

Swine flu?

lljkk · 16/12/2010 16:39

TA wouldn't be any fun if it didn't have such annoying characters. I only tune in to have therapeutic daily fume at HELLen.

jodevizes · 16/12/2010 19:31

I think that after Harry was reluctant to sing carols, he may be a suicide bomber that will blow up the Bull during the Christmas lunchtime session. Die infidels, sorry that the lessons can't be finished Peggy, and the whole place goes up. Ends with Joline saying I'm coming Sid.

Lilymaid · 16/12/2010 20:50

Harry is a bit too nice isn't he? There must be more to him ... some dark secret. Could he be another Owen?

teddies · 16/12/2010 21:05

Perhaps Hellin will fall for him and he will marry her and everthing will turn out well and she will become normal.

This thing about Freddie and Lily is a bit of a duff storyline, isn't it.

Tolalola · 16/12/2010 21:31

Maybe Freddie and Lily will crack under the strain and set fire to Lower Loxley at their birthday party, wiping out half the Archer clan at one fell swoop...

P.S. Evenkeel, I can't believe you find Pat more annoying than Jennifer! Shock Grin

teddies · 16/12/2010 21:32

Oh that's a good one. Could they invite Susan Carter along first though, because she really does need to go.

R4 · 16/12/2010 23:46

Ooooh, there's another thought. The dreaded Christmas Eve drinks'n'nibbles: the Aldridges trapped in a room with the horrible Horrobins. It can't possibly end well.

GrimmaTheNome · 17/12/2010 08:36

The Freddie and Lily story is probably the fault of MN - all the state/private and 11+/entrance exam woes threads, clearly its a topic they've got to cover sometime and unevenly-gifted twins from a rich family are perfect for it.

mrswoodentop · 17/12/2010 08:48

Helen will go mad and murder Tony,or maybe Tony will finally lose the plot and get rid of moaning Kathy

LadyBiscuit · 17/12/2010 09:00

The special double length anniversary episode can't be on 2nd Jan. I'm away Xmas Angry

highlighterpen · 17/12/2010 09:02

Oh if someone's going to cop it, pleeeeease let it be Tom.

There should be sausages involved. Dh favours pigs pinning him down in the mud and choke him to death on a meat-related product (he suggested pork balls). Hmm

I think getting his tie caught in the sausage machine and being sliced, diced and turned into bangers would be a just retribution for his whiny annoying presence in the show up till now.

evenkeel · 17/12/2010 13:49

Tolalola, at the moment Pat is massively irritating, what with enabling Hellin in her preposterous behaviour! (and as for last night's hateful outburst at her poor father - words fail me). But agreed, JennyDarling is also appalling. Let's just say that the rankings in my hate-list do vary according to events.

I realise I forgot to put Kate in there, too, who's also been unspeakably horrible with the Phoebe business!

GrimmaTheNome · 17/12/2010 13:53

Something happening to Kate - especially if she's buggered off back to Africa - wouldn't SATIC though, so she's safe.

EdgarAleNPie · 17/12/2010 14:24

did they get to the bottom of the prank-paste in the bucket that got Eddi fired from the panto?

JenaiMarrsTartanFoxCube · 17/12/2010 14:31

I thought it was odd that Hellin was buying a sterilizer. I thought she'd be the sort who refused to believe that BF-ing could possibly go wrong. Maybe the sterilizer is faulty and it'll blow up the village?

Or maybe it wasn't a sterilizer at all - she was very cagey about it.

I hope Pip's not for the chop - I do like her. And her mum.

Tolalola · 17/12/2010 14:32

EdgarAleNPie it was Nathan Booth, getting back at Eddie for telling him the wrong winner in the Village Hall racing pools.

evenkeel, I know what you're saying about Pat, really Grin. I think I'm so incensed by everything that Hellin says that I forget there are others egging her on. Haven't heard last night's episode yet...

GrimmaTheNome · 17/12/2010 14:33

I wondered that for a moment but then remembered she'll doubtless pump when working.

JenaiMarrsTartanFoxCube · 17/12/2010 14:36

Do we think she's been reading that book? The one by the woman we're not allowed to talk for fear of being sued?

It would suit her controlling style to a tee.

Tolalola · 17/12/2010 14:42

Wouldn't have thought she'd need it...I bet she could out-control SWMNBN with her hands tied behind her back.

evenkeel · 17/12/2010 14:43

Tolalola, won't reveal all, but I hope you'll be as appalled as I was by the vile self-centredness of Hellin and Pat's continuing determination to kowtow to her....

Abr1de · 17/12/2010 14:58

No, Hellin will be a continuum mother. She will sacrifice herself on the altar of the martyr mummy, sleeping with the child until it is eight and breastfeeding it until it leaves home at 18.

R4 · 17/12/2010 16:04

Did anybody see Misfits last night? Can they arrange for LactoBoy to be let loose on Bridge Farm Dairy: that should put paid to Pat, Tony, Hellin, Tom, Susan, Viqquiii and a visiting Kathy (but not Clarrie) all in one go. Result!
