Oh no - sorry to hear that!

You could contacting Maclaren themselves - I heard of another mum getting a new seat and hood from them!

Good luck.

ps - did you put the hood in support bars and all then? Is that how people get them clean?

peeved off now!

Yup put the whole thing in just unclip it from the frame, I've done it tons of times! Just all went wrong today!
Think the spin was to high (someone put it on 1400 (the highest!) I have it on 400!) and it burnt out on the side!

Bloody thing!

Thank you! I will contact Maclaren! I wouldnt bother except I live in London and British weather N all that

Hope Maclaren are helpful. Yes a similar thing happened to my crocs. I had 2 pairs in and somehow the spin had been put on full. It shredded one of each pair. (Both the left foot, so i couldn't have even had 2 non matching pair for in the house!).
If you can't get a hood get a clippasafe buggy cape they are fab and no bother to carry at all times. Kids often prefer them to plastic covers over a hood anyway. I know they're not fashionable at the moment but they do work and are so practical.
