HI. I have bought after much research a BJCM (mini double) which has almost flat reclining seats. Everyone seems to love the nipper 360, but I found the handle too low. Had a P&T but wanted a side by side. I loved the mountain buggy Urban double, but there was no way it would fir in my car. Key points for choosing the BJCM
Lightweight
Fairly narrow
Quick and easy fold
Nice features like ventilation at the rear of the seats and the extending hoods
Reasonably priced
Good handle height
Suitable from birth
Steers nicely

My DD who is 20 months sits pretty upright in it, and she loves to be nosy!

Right, I have 10 double pushchairs at the moment (please dont ask why!!)and would say that they all have their downfalls!! I have 3 MB urbans, 1 MB terrain,2 easywalker duos, 2 air buggy doubles,1 emmaljunga city cross and 1 emmaljunga cerox 360...On a daily basis I tend to use the MB urbans.I had a BJCM for a day and a phil and teds for a day also as I couldnt get on with either of these...P&T I just hated as you had to almost throw baby in and bjcm felt soooo heavy but I think I was too used to air tyres!!I love the emmaljungas as you can have both facing you. What are important factors to you ie.will it be going in and out of a car, do you have space to store it etc, etc Im afraid there isnt a perfect double though

The Easywalker duo and MB's don't fold down very small as neither would fit in my car so make sure you go somewhere were they will do this for you to try. The BJCM is lighter than both of these although the tyres are solid but I think it manouvres nicely. Definitely agree with baby position on the P&T and also the toddler up in front doesn't have much head room and can't recline. Having had about 8 single pushchairs I have had to accept that there would be some compromise on a double. Not sure where you are based but Winstanleys pramworld in Wigan were really good and gave me loads of help and advice. I looked at the Emaljungas which are nice and can face either way but they were heavy and the seat unit was not very big to accommodate a toddler, also there is no real divide between the seats. I really wanted the MB double Urban but it was not use when I couldn't get it in the car. Good luck!
