PHIL & TEDS vs NIPPER 360

Hi all- 1st time posting here

I'd love to hear from anybody who has used both P&T Sport (single) and Nipper 360 (single). DS is a big 10 mth old (dad 6'4). We live on the 1st floor and I'm 5'2'. Have purchased a P&T Sport (Kermit colour) but it's still in the packaging as after searching through the net for reviews etc, I still cannot decide if Nipper 360 Single is better for baby re comfort.

Husband thinks P&T sport looks far cooler than Nipper;
I just assume the Nipper is lighter AND WITH SUSPENSION, so 'in theory' more comfortable for baby on (very) bumpy/uneven pavement and in the country (??)

How important is 'Back Wheel Suspension'anyway? After checking with P&T supplier, P&T Sport does NOT have back wheel suspension. Does that make the journey any worse off than Nipper??
Usage would be mainly on uneven pavement and gravels. Nanny 'pulls' buggy upstairs by the way so tyres would bounce off the stairs a bit i'd imagine...

Hi - I haven't used a P&T sport but have been pretty happy with the nipper single we bought for dc3. It is quite lightweight, manoevres well and the hood is nice a big, so great for the odd shower and sun protection.

The only things I personally don't like are that my shopping basket tends to drag on the floor sometimes when going up and down kerbs(probably I've overloaded it and so it's sagged a bit). I'm also not keen on the harness as I've pinched the skin on my fingers occasionally when doing the clips.

But all in all, it's a good off-road pram and reasonably priced. Also goes well with my buggy board.

p&t is not great as a single. its heavy and cumbersome. i've had both yes it looks nicer the only let down of the nipper is its looks. Useability the nipper wins hands down..better hood, bigger seat soooooo light and cheaper. nipper nipper nipper!

nicolamumof3 - Thank you kindly for the comparison! I'm just getting hung up on suspension (this will be one of the main deciding factors). Did you find Nipper any better on rough roads with back wheel suspension than P&T (which does not have suspension), or not much difference between the two?

I've used both, with a toddler and baby, and for ease of use, the Nipper wins hands down.

It's just much lighter and easy to move around, on ALL surfaces. I found the P&T heavy and cumbersome, and also now EVERYONE has one, so not so cool anymore.

Oh, just realised you're talking about the single versions. Well, I've used the singles of both of these too, and the Nipper still wins hands down.

I recommended it to two of my friends, and they're really happy with it too.

found them the same tbh over rough terrain. The beauty of the nipper is the lightness. Works great with a board too.

Nipper wins hands down. Its fantastic and light. Only gripe is it is quite big when folded down and fills the boot of my clio.

Plus you can buy the Nipper Single in John Lewis now which just adds to the convenience! I got mine from practical pushchairs online and can see they are under £200 there incl. the shopping basket and raincover. Can't go wrong really!

As a single only Nipper no doubt, P&T pretty rubbish as a single.

Verdict seems to be pro Nipper consistently, and yet P&Ts are EVERYWHERE and I only recall seeing 1 Nipper in my area... go figure
