Hi, Does anyone have a Silver Cross Pop Sport? And if so, how have you found it?

I'm currently looking for a light weight pushchair for my 6mth old and as Babies r us currently have these on offer they seem like quite a good buy.

Buy it! We have one, ds loves it. It pushes nicely and it folds easily (and I'm totally cack handed). The seat is well padded, I think it looks way more comfortable than similar buggies.

word of caution- i have one for my dd who is 2.7- the seat seems shallower than others and her legs dangle on the floor!

I looked at this, as I love Silver Cross and have a Linear Freeway as my main pram.
Went for a Maclaren Quest in the end, it was easier to fold and DD, 5 mo, looked more comfy in it.

I looked at the silver cross pop, the jive, the pick and mix, and the maclaren triumph last weekend.
I ended up with the maclaren, after being advised by the sales assistant that they get loads of silver cross back and they arent worth the money, and I thought the mothercare didnt feel very sturdy.
I thought the silver cross was quite small and DD looked hunched up, and also the leg rest doesnt fold down to vertical, so she couldnt actually get her legs on the footrest. Looked great but not worth the cash tbh

I got the pop when my daughter was 6 months old and by the time she was qbout 18 months she'd grown out of it!

I accept shes a tall girl and a bit chunky round the middle but the straps didn't do up unless I caught her as she breathed in. Also the raincover is a nightmare if you get caught in a sudden rain storm- Lots of fiddling around with poppers that dont line up and fiddly bits of velcro only to fong out that raincover doesn't cover 1 year old's feet...

Got a Maclaren XLR and I love it even thought it's a bit pricey it's worth its weight in gold.
