hi all, you know once the second seat is underneath the main seat. does the baby sit in the main seat and eldest in second?? Very silly question i know. thanks

While the youngest is small it's better if they sit in the back seat and the oldest sits in the front. If a heavy toddler sits in the back then they can sometimes tip backwards.

Once my DD was about 18 months the weight difference didn't seem to matter so now they swop where they sit, although 3.7 DS tends to sit in the back and hop out and toddle a lot of the time.

yes, dd now 2.3 like to sit in back and hop in and out too. 15mo age gap and her and her brother not too different in weight.

saying that, i went down quite a steep hill today with her in back and did worry that whole thing was going to topple back.

the back seat has a weight limit on it of 15kg which means my DD1 is too heavy for that seat at 2.8

Meglet · 21/06/2010 17:25

about not knowing about the back seat weight limit. DS is just over 16kg.

Sorry, got it off P&T website but that may be them being over cautious or just the limit it is tested to
