Nicola, you'd be better off getting an Ipad. Netbook screens a re tiny.

Just a smaller version of a laptop really but has no dvd drive. Perfect for surfing net tho!

we have swimming lessons after lunch and some shopping to do in town. Had a good morning. All ironing done, and floors swept/mopped. Normality resumed.

Well this is a mad house just now. I think the children have all crashed after loads of excitement at the start of the holidays. They are all hyper. I feel like a dinner lady and it just dawned on me that my nephew is used to doing loads in his house but he is now acting like little lord fonteroy asking for this and that to be brought to him. I am doing it of course because the wee soul and his brother get left pretty much to get on with it in their own house so a wee treat for him suppose. I am all for doing stuff at that age but his dad really does bugger all and they cut the grass the lot. So as you can imagine i am running around mad but i love to.

I am thinking like ipad 5in. I don't even have a mobile phone or i could have stored maxy's number on it for blackpool.

Lol @ Basl and no mobile - even my Mum and Dad have them - no, hang on , they are quite adept - EVEN, Matthew's M&D have one they never use it mind and din't realise if they never use and have it turned off all of the time that it will actually need charging

I have a netbook nic, am on it now! I bought it as i dropped the laptop and smashed the hard drive Its fab for surfing and the screen is fine. Think its a 10" but you can get smaller.

The iphone is fabulous btw.

Talking about netbooks and iphones. Do people pay extra for using iphone to use internet? Recently dd is into Cbeebies website, so every afternoon after school its a bit of fight and queue who gets pc. Dh suggested to buy dd netbook or small laptop, just a cheap one with wireless, no harddrive capacity. I wondered, if is better if get myself phone that i can use internet

My iphone is on contract diva, i pay a £31 per month for 300 any network minutes, unlimited texts and unlimited internet (within reason).

At home i can use the iphone to connect to my bt broadband hub so i don't even use any allowance then.

Right Geek that sounds good to me. I would like a mobile and i would like to use the net and receive email. Haaaa haa never had one and now i want one that does it all. My oldest nephew thinks it is highly amusing i don't have one and even he said. "I will show you how to use bluetooth and download songs and stuff" What ever that language is.

Can you imagine i would be on it constantly and you would all get so fed up with my twittering.

So geek who is your contract with and i won't use the texting very much or the phone to that matter so could i get a cheaper package.

Oh one last thing is that the mini micro in the elc called sit n ride???
