Nicola i do know exactly what you mean. We have been going through some stack of old receipts and paper work i have stashed away as i could not be bothered to look at it and Adam has been shredding it for me while daniel drawing at his sisters. I found a folder with all the baby stuff you get in the hospital about breastfeeding and bounty stuff and lots of little pics of my babies when born. It could remember it like yesterday and how excited i was and all the new baby stuff and Awwww it was so lovely.

Hope luka has a great day xxx

hello ladies I'm looking for the head of the changing bag department as I'm looking for some advice...

I have a leather OiOi Hobo changing bag in Mimosa yellow that I'm looking to sell. Was bought it for Christmas but it was only used for a couple of weeks as I found I just never used it and it got in my way. So, it's in excellent condition with a few scuffs round the feet and a couple of small 3mm marks on the bag itself. What do you think is a reasonable price to try to sell it for on eBay? They never seem to sell second hand so can't check old listings. DH paid £145 if that makes any difference...

Thank you muchly in advance! Sorry for butting in

basl · 13/07/2010 09:44

Hiya Tweetinat what a sweet name that is Well the ladies in charge of that department i think is Carrie and Geek they should be along with some advice for you. Nicola i think would know but she will be rather busy today with her little boys birthday.

Hope you get your answer soon tweetinat [so sweet] x

lillypie · 13/07/2010 10:04

Morning all it's very gloomy here today DD is in my bed watching peppa pig and eating a mixed salad lol.

Happy birthday Luka!!! nic can you believe that our babies are THREE

Basl how are you feeling about your driving lessons. My parents are gomimg over from Australia for three months soon. They are going to buy a little car to use while they are here and my Mum says if I get together and start driving lessons then she will let me have the car when they go home.

I would love my own car but I am feeling a bit nervous about learning to drive.

basl · 13/07/2010 10:19

Morning lillypie well it has taken me till i am nearly 40 to pluck up the courage and i am scared stiff but for many reasons i am going to give it my best shot. I have a car sat outside my house all day as my dh has a works van. I hate the thought of driving but i think it will change my life. I am always not able to go to this and that quite as easy as if i could drive. It's also a little test for myself to see if i could force myself to do something i am really scared about and well here i am off to another lesson today.

Go Go Go for it Lillypie noboday more a feardy than me but it's such a good feeling to overcome a fear. If i don't pass anytime at least the fear has gone eh.

Probably a little longer answer than you were expecting but you should know by now not to ask me anything and expect a wee relpy Hope you are well xx

basl · 13/07/2010 10:20

Off out now for my lesson Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh i want my mummy!!!!!

Geek i wont be back till later but thinking about you and sending lots of big positive thoughts to you xxxxxxxxxx

5inthebed · 13/07/2010 10:26

Morning ladies.

Happy birthday Luka

Basl, hope your lesson goes ok. My instructer always suggestedd eating a banana before each lesson as it makes you think straight. I never always ate one, but they do work. I ate two in the morning before I passed my test.

Lillypie, that is so kind of your mam! Such an incentive to drive if you get a free car.

Bexie, hope Tom enjoys nursery and you manag to park.

lillypie · 13/07/2010 10:42

I know ,my mum is fab!!!

Basl you are just a baby I am 45!!

lolol I will remember the banana tip

GeekOfTheWeek · 13/07/2010 10:50

Hi all,

Clinic just rang. Consultant has reviewed and they want to re telederm in 3 months. (Usually 3, 6 or 12 months depending on clinical appearance) Think we will just go for removal rather than waiting. I feel slightly better about it though. Its hard to be optimistic at times as I was a staff nurse prior to traing as a midwife so I have seen the devastating times when the results aren't good

Nic & basl, have you an account with next? If so log into it and there is an option to book your vip slot. I have previewed the sale items and I will be ordering LOADS

GeekOfTheWeek · 13/07/2010 10:52

Happy birthday Luka

BexieID · 13/07/2010 12:07

Thanks 5in, they had car park open thankfully. I even google streetviewed it last night . Hate parking and driving on motorways.

No one told me I had to bring lunch, I did offer to go get some, but they said they would improvise today. The nursery he went to over easter had hot meals/sarnies, so assumed it would be the same. He'll be having sarnies with no filling and cheese dipz tomorrow as he won't be able to have his beloved peanut butter.

Tweetinat · 13/07/2010 12:32

Thank you Basl - I'll keep an eye out for a reply

It was the first ever user ID I chose over 15 years ago and it's just stuck... feels a bit daft using it as a thirtysomething now, but hey ho

nicolamumof3 · 13/07/2010 13:03

afternoon all!
grandparents have taken luka out (shock horror ) so terry can finish bday cake and im making pavlova.

tweetinat oh i bet the lin and leo is lovely!! Haven't a clue either what they go for secondhand tho? i love yellow as well. Would be tempted if my 'baby' wasn't 3yo.

basl hope lesson goes well my lovely..

& geek glad you heard results now must be so stressful. Must go as terry is telling me my meringue will take 'ages'!

GeekOfTheWeek · 13/07/2010 13:06

Tweetinat, your bag sounds lovely. Not sure what they go for second hand. Perhaps ask on the sale boards?

basl · 13/07/2010 15:17

5in thankyou for the banana advice. I sure did need one today. I was ok but find i get tired just before the lesson finishes and i was asked to signal left round a round about and guess what i signaled right [he corrected that] but i still steered right my head was just not in gear it is so scary but the guy is so good. He is old fashioned and such a calm demeanor about it, until i did that anyway Acht well booked another one for tomorrow.

Geek glad you have made your choice now and you must feel a bit more settled knowing whats happening next. xxx

Nicola wooo hooo grandparents taken luka out. Thats lovely. Mmmmmm to your cakes tho.

Bexie i hope i just manage to drive one day let alone parking and OMG motorways. Oh and i love peanut butter too.

carrielou2007 · 13/07/2010 15:38

Afternoon, just done a quick skim to catch up the will have a proper read-back

Happy birthday Luka!! Hope you are chilling a wee bit Nicola rather than ironing knowing you when you get two mins to yourself.

Geek sounds a huge relief, I am super moley person like you would not believe and I am having some off soon, have had some before, like you say just whip 'em off no worry, end of

Tweet never heard of those bags, will google

basl · 13/07/2010 15:46

at that comment Carrie you do know me so well. Kindred spirit of mine although i don't know if i would be that clever to do all the bits n pieces and sing at the same time. The guy was trying to chat to me today and i just had to blank him as i could not do it. I asked if anyone had ever had a heart attack while learning but he assures me no but he may have one if i try to go round the round about the wrong way again.

Does that mean you have the swift and love love love it and now the b+ and love love love it. How good is that you must be super chuffed with your self. Do you still have the urban?

carrielou2007 · 13/07/2010 15:52

I've not upset you have I? Spat my pepsi max out reading about the corner

I have the swft, not used it yet, love it, sold the urban, have two cams (selling one) Bee+, quest (yuk) volo (must sell it) black xt (love it) can't narrow it down to less than four

basl · 13/07/2010 16:05

Oh no not at all Carrie i kinda like that image tbh. My neighbours are slightly nervous of me without driving a car. There is always a drama me running out the house after daniel, or Olivia running up the road in her pj's to say goodnight to her grandad and me chasing after her. Then there is the times i come back from my parents BQ's and talk to them on face book and sure the all think i am mad.

Oh have you not used the swift yet? You still love it? that is a fair collection you have

basl · 13/07/2010 16:06

oh sorry to ask but how is the slimming world going ? Are you still on it and have you lost more weight. I am been really good but no weight loss .

5inthebed · 13/07/2010 16:08

Carrie I was so hoping you wouldn't say that about the Bee+ . I really want one after sitting DS3 in one last week and him still having loads of room. I can't jsutify spending £400 on a pram though (damn shame).

Ds1's friend is here for tea so I've got 4 hyper boys running around

Bexie, you sound just like me parking. I hate going anywhere new, I never thought about looking on Goole Earth to check the route out. Ds1 has PB sandwiches every Friday as a treat in his packed lunch.

carrielou2007 · 13/07/2010 16:14

I need to lose three more pounds to get to three stone, it has been coming off great but last week only lost half a pound, so could be a few more weeks yet . Then I'm going to reset my target and see if I can knock another stone or 3/4 off maybe.

Love the bee+ and thought, sod it, especially as had to renew my lience for work which is 695 bt now we have a diff governing body and it is only 149 hence I toddle off to mothercare

basl · 13/07/2010 16:21

Thats fantastic Carrie. Do you still do the easy extra plan? I must be doing something wrong. Do you count your sins properly?

5in would you really make use of the bee+? It's awful when you want something like that and it costs a fair bit. Could you not sell your others and some bits n pieces.
