We spent ages in TK Maxx on sat just because it was icy cold, was lovely being able to swan around without DH twtching at being in a shop [grin

FlyMeToDunoon · 28/06/2010 17:39

Hey basl! Nice to hear from you.
BWH I would have maybe tried a bug if mine had been younger, and congratulations on a bargain.

Just two little niggles on the Superlite. First the sticker on the footplate is peeling and secondly the footplate is always slightly apart a crack. Is this normal?

Hiya Basl Glad you're ok

I've been sorting DS1+2 bedroom out today. They have so much toys, I didn't want to take them all with us when we move, so sorted it all out, three big boxes away on Freecycle, a huge box of books away to another Freecycler and thre bin bags full of broken toys . And there is still loads of toys in there!

FlyMeToDunoon · 28/06/2010 18:45

5in did you see my micralite questions?

OP posts:
5inthebed · 28/06/2010 18:49

Sorry, missed it.

Sticker shouldn't peel off, is it the sticker or is it the plastic bit covering it?

And you need to tighten the strap in the middle to stop the gapping. It's a common thing with micralites, that why they changed the design.

FlyMeToDunoon · 28/06/2010 18:53

Aha will tighten strap then but it is the Micralite sticker which is peeling. Maybe cheaper sticker on superlite.

OP posts:
5inthebed · 28/06/2010 19:06

Possibly. I can't remember if my lastest micralite had the sticker on, don't think it did.

FlyMeToDunoon · 28/06/2010 19:11

Might email Micralite and ask about it. If/when I sell it, it would be better with a sticker on the front.

OP posts:
nicolamumof3 · 28/06/2010 19:15

yes i'd like the sticker on when i buy it pmsl!

5inthebed · 28/06/2010 19:16

FlyMeToDunoon · 28/06/2010 19:17

maxybrown · 28/06/2010 19:44

James in bed already too amazingly. he is just in his little undies fell asleep at the table

Divatheshopaholic · 28/06/2010 19:58

Maxy, do you buy Gap shortie and thsirt pjms for James?

maxybrown · 28/06/2010 20:07

yes I do Diva why?

Divatheshopaholic · 28/06/2010 20:08

What the fitting like? I know they are quite skinny fit? They were priced 7pound each, is that reduced price or normal price?
How is toilet training doing btw? We been dry since weekend during the day, and he told he wanted poopoo

nicolamumof3 · 28/06/2010 20:13

yay well done to ds diva thats great!

tate has shortie gap ones. luka too chubby for them tbh. they are £12 or £12.50 full price.

maxybrown · 28/06/2010 20:16

Well..........James has always had them. then last year he started freaking out with the short ones as he didn't like them fited on his arms and legs so this year i got age 5 - yes they are roomy but he doesn't whinge so guess it depends on said child really. he has got a couple of age 4 pairs and have gpt away with those too.

I have an old pair of age 3 in the long ones here and they are ok too but he is happier in thoe as can't feel the arms and legs.......if that makes any sense whatsoever??

They are reduced yes. Normally £12 or £14 I think for short ones. want to get back and get some but didn't make it today and working tomorrow.

Training going well. he just takes himself off. Have reminded him to try a few times, but needs more reminding when in pants and shorts, but 3rd night dry too! Have to keep reminding him that he has to shout one of us when he does a pooh as he just does it and jumps off the loo!!! Glad your DS is back on track. James has had couple of accidents but only wee thankfully so far!

Divatheshopaholic · 28/06/2010 20:17

But the ones i seen were just single pjms not pair of pjms, though?
If they are actually 12 pounds then, i might nip Gap and get some in bigger sizes. Nicola, ds is gone very long and lean

maxybrown · 28/06/2010 20:19

ah you mean the all in ones?

maxybrown · 28/06/2010 20:20

stop me woman!!

nicolamumof3 · 28/06/2010 20:23

i've had to ditch all in ones too fiddly now luka uses loo by self.
