Double pushchairs- Out n About vs Baby Jogger

My toddler will be 2 when my new baby is expected. We like the idea of a double buggy so both kiddies can see easily and can lie flat when sleeping.

We are trying to choose between the Out n About Little Nipper 360 and the Baby Jogger City Mini Twin. Does anyone have any experience of either (or both) of these?

Many thanks!

just bought the out n about nipper 360 double and built it yesterday, it's really solid and DD1 (will be 3 when DD2 arrives loves sitting in it already. Bought it because it is better off road than the city mini and weighs 5kg less, an added bonus is it just fits through our front door!

i have got a nipper 360 double, ive been using it for nearly 2 years for my almost 2 yo and almost 3 yo. i love it, its so easy to push! although the rain cover that bought with it split so had to get a new one, also i've had a couple if punctures. i have since filled the tyres with the slime stuff and had no more problems.

Thanks Hevster and martini82 - the little nipper does sound like a great pushchair (and for the tips about avoiding punctures!).

Hiya, I bought the Nipper a few weeks ago for my 2 year old and 2 month old. Having tried both the Baby Jogger City Mini Double and the Out n About Nipper 360 Double in the shops, I would have preferred the Baby Jogger (better features: better hood coverage, better seats, MUCH easier to fold and to carry when folded, almost as light as the Nipper, more accessories) but the straps on the Baby Jogger said only up to 15kg (2 stone 5 lb)and my normal 2 year old is 2 stone already - so went for the Nipper as it can take more weight. Having said that, I do like the Nipper, it's light, fits through most shop doorways (just) and on our buses (just), is easy to push and we recently tried it "off road" in the woods and it coped really well. For me, the only real downside is that the front foot board sticks up when it's collapsed, making it a bit bulky to store, and it doesn't have any carry handles to make it easy to lift/move when collapsed. As you have to collapse it to bring it into and out of the house through a standard house door, this is a bit of a pain. When out and about, though, it's been fantastic. Having looked into double buggies a lot before shortlisting these two, I'd recommend the Baby Jogger if you've got 2 young babies/children and the Nipper if you've got an older child. (Note - the Baby Jogger website says the City Mini seats can hold 50lb (3 stone 8lb), so a contradiction to what's actually written on the straps).
