Do I need a blanket with a bugaboo bee?

I'm planning on getting the bugaboo bee plus, and have always wanted one of those old fashioned crochet pram blankets... question is, will it pointless when I have that nest / cocoon thingy that you get to go with the bee? Or are there times whe nest/coccoon and a blanket would be needed instead?

Any advice from bugaboo bee owners would be much appreciated before I shell out £50 on the lovely blanket I have my beady eye on...

thanks!

You can use the base of the coccoon/nest and unzip the top and use your blanket, on chilly days then add the top cover to.

I tend to only dress baby in a light jumper etc as much easier to remove blanket when in shops than thick jacket.
