Phil&Ted's Sport: How do I remove covers?

Does anyone know how to remove the covers on a P&T Sport?

I bought one secondhand at the weekend to use on holiday next week, but I forgot to check it was from a smoke-free home.

Have managed to squash the cocoon and double seat into the washing machine - just - they washed fine so was hoping to get the main cover off and either squash into my machine or take to launderette, which has a huge machine and no attendant to see me washing it .

I've given the main cover a good clean on the frame but I can still smell the smoke. You can buy replacement covers so they must come off. I've unscrewed the screws and loosened the bolts to free the cover at the bottom, but I'm stuck at getting the hood off out of the way and then how to slide the covers off the frame.

Any help gratefully received.

Well I've got one of the hood ends out - three to go. Also got the screws near the handle undone but they don't remove it. I'll keep trying.

The handle screws come out and handle pulls up and out.

Unpop the hood and then let it drop forward to the bumper bar then wiggle the sides and out it will pop, unthread bar.

Unscrew the straps on the frame on either side of the seat, unpop the seat poppa's by the handle and then tug a little at the bottom and it will pop off then slide it up and off.

Remove Basket.

I have washed everything in the bath, bath of warm water, mug of laundry powder and a soak for 1 hr then a good scrubbing with soft brush ( i used brush from dust pan set), empty bath then very good rinse with shower attachment and outside for a few hours, after 4 hours it was dry enough to refit to finish drying.
