Stupid doorstep/pram problem

My front door has a step, then the door itself was a raised threshold thingy, and they are about the exact gap apart that my pram wheels are. Massive coachy pram that bounces all over the shop-how on earth do I get it in and out without waking the baby?

Does the top come off the wheels?

Options....

Ramp

lift off carrycot

put baby in a cocoon before putting in pram so you can lift out easily.

use a diff door

buy a different pram

use a sling instead

or keep doing it baby will get used to the bouncing about

I had a similar prob with dd1's pram, I used to carry her in and park the pram in the garage. I also bought a tape measure and took it shopping with me after that

Get a little ramp made for on top of the step so it rolls over the door lip.

My dc's didn't wake up when the pushchair was rammed through the front door. It's one with proper tyres so they weren't rattled about too much I think.
