has anyone used it before then?

i'm doing my back in trying to get the baby in and out of the flat compartment. what are you supposed to do for the months when they're too big for the cocoon, but not officially old enough to sit up?

very tempted to get rid of it altogether and buy a maclaren but that's another story.

DD grew out of the lie flat part at 4 months so I reclined the doubles kit seat and popped it on the back. It's quite slanted and I figured that she was just as upright in a baby chair.

Everyone I know with a P&T put their youngest in the seat before 6 months as the lie flat part was too small.
