I am looking for a lightweight stroller which is suitable from birth. I want a sturdy, reliable one - but something that folds down to a fairly small size and is not too heavy. Willing to spend up to about £150 for a good one. Any recommendations would be v welcome.
Thank you

For my money you can't beat a Petite Star Zia. ... and you can pick one up for less that £100 now.

we have the maclaren techno xt as our 2nd stroller. it's good as far as strollers go, large lie flat seat with leg rest, extendable handles and we just discovered the other day that the hood has a zip which extends it-i assume for the sun!! we also got a travel bag for taking it on the plane so it doesn't get damaged.

I bought the mamas and papas voyager on monday. Its from birth and it's on offer at £139 at the moment. My DS is 9 wks and we needed it for air travel yesterday. I really like it, it's so light (8kg )and folds up compactly with a carry handle! Also has hood extension which covers DS from the sun with a small sun shade on the front also. Removes the need for a parasol.
Extremely light compared to the icandy apple ( 15kg) which I have as a main pram and pushchair.
