Pushchairs
buggy board for Britax Vigour?
picc · 16/05/2010 08:47
DC2 due in September. DS will be 20 months then.
Really don't want to get a double pushchair for many reasons.
Carried DS in sling a lot in early days, so am thinking I'll use sling/pushchair sometimes, but I do know there'll be times I want to put DC2 in a pram/pushchair.
I tend to walk everywhere, so was hoping to get buggy board to go with our pushchair. Anyone used one with the Britax Vigour? (it's 3 wheeled, if that makes any difference?)
Any suggestions/ advice/ hints much appreciated. Thanks

I have the Britax B Smart 4, which is pretty much the same as the Vigour (although 4 wheels of course!). I use the Lascal Buggy Board Maxi with mine and am very happy with it - very easy to push and DD has happily used it since 2.5. The Lascal website has a buggy fit chart and gives the Vigour a compatability rating of 9/10, which is one of the reasons I got my B Smart (previously had P&T, which was brill in winter, but DD soon wanted to walk everywhere). HTH.

Oh and if you want to carry baby in a sling then this should be plenty big enough for your older child - DD is a tall 2 and 8 months and fits comfortably.

Brill. That's exactly what I wanted to hear. There's hope then.... I was worried I might be a bit stranded without a double buggy, but will give sling/single pushchair/buggy board a go in various combinations for a while and see how it goes. That gives me a place to start looking.
Thanks for getting back to me so quickly
