horsemadgal · 20/05/2010 17:32

Phew basl, so glad it fits through your door!

FlyMeToDunoon · 20/05/2010 20:02

Basl that's great. I hope it's a sticker.
Demand pics asap
More packing today and I am so tired. I can't believe how much stuff there is. Everywhere I look there is crap without a home- hairclips, 3D glasses, empty plastic storage box with one toy horse inside..... you get the picture.
Lying on sofa now with a cider.

I want my baby jogger Elite back Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhh!!!! No it is ok but no comparison to the one and only Elite. Damn those wide wheels. It will be perfect for what i want and although i am not too impressed by the quality (notice the o3 sport is all over the place and is like it all over the pram and on wheels) it fits out my door and the giant boy seems to fit in it ok. Still miss the huge high seat of the Elite but you can't have everything. I do really like the Harness and that horrible plasticky sun visor is going to get ripped of before long. He keeps grabbing it. Olivia has had a shot and a lie down and seems to be room enough but then she is a tall but so slight.
So here are the pics and you will all be glad to know that i have come down from my hyper activity. It's like a deflating balloon, this muggy weather is killing me but i know we should not complain. Today has been one of those days maxy had you know the one she had with that big word in it.

basl · 20/05/2010 20:44

Oh and i am going to have my fav dino olive green liner and blanket made again. I loved that on my obaby atlas but never found another green pushchair i liked. So there is a possitive

maxybrown · 20/05/2010 20:47

oppressive

FlyMeToDunoon · 20/05/2010 20:49

Well basl DS looks a lot more comfy in it and has a lot of leg room. the head height doesn't look vast but is fine. Shopping basket is titchy- non? Otherwise I think it looks nice.
And ripe for pimping

OP posts:
basl · 20/05/2010 20:51

That's the one maxy, it has been a very oppressive day for me i get all hot and bothered and did not take to well to being hit over the head with a sweeping brush by Daniel. I think he was trying to brush my hair. Yeah right then.
How you been today? I am doing ironing tonight so don't think i will get on this much.
Hope your feeling a bit better nicola ?
Flyme hope you catch a rest now.

basl · 20/05/2010 20:54

Yes i agree the head height is not great but i asked olivia to shuffle down abit and she was fine. So i don't even know i long i will need this as the bjcm is fab but does not cope well with the rough ground on the way to nursery. I know and what about that basket? But i don't use it really for shopping or anything just up and down to nursery. You really do have to make do sometimes and for as much as i loved the Elite it bloody well would not fit out my door.

FlyMeToDunoon · 20/05/2010 21:05

oooh basl Stirling castle on tv!
I can see the dents your DS left

OP posts:
basl · 20/05/2010 21:12

Ohhh i am off to have a look. It is so interesting Flyme have you been?

FlyMeToDunoon · 20/05/2010 21:13

Years ago. All I remember is the amazing view out over the plain.

FlyMeToDunoon · 20/05/2010 21:17

And now I've had my cider I will give you, in the spirit of basl, a song:
I love a sausage
A co-operative sausage
But ye canny get near it fur the smell.
if ye fry it wi' an onion,
ye can hear the onion singin'
Mary my scots bluebell

basl your home is gorgeous! That beautiful flooring!

rather like the o3 too!

we went out for late walk with boys as so warm. nice and they were straight out when tucked into bed at 9pm!

basl · 20/05/2010 23:25

Lol More More encore!!!! Lol at your song Flyme i love it. Olivia would love to learn that. She for some reason has been copying some people talking very broad. She sounds irish or something when she tries to say A dinny ken and i thanked her tonight for being such a good help and she said in the funny voice it's aw right hen. She giggled away as she knows it's funny.
I watched that programme and it was fascintating. The skeleton reconstruction was a bit of a hunk don't you think .

Thankyou Nicola do you really think so . The pushchair will have to do i suppose as i can't be bothered looking for another narrow one.

sal1309 · 20/05/2010 23:44

hello everyone

thought id pop on and say hi

basl glad your happy with new pram.

well i do my fist shift at the pub tomorrow

been busy this week while the dds have had the pox. i have gutted my living room, gutteds the dining/playroom today (3 bin bags of toys later) thrown out so just got to do the spring clean in there tomorrow morning. Then at some point i will start on the rest of the house.

i am loving the weather at the mo though as can get out in the garden and we are off to a bbq tomorrow afternoon

basl · 21/05/2010 00:06

Sal you do amaze me. Such a Zest for life as my H would say. Good on you and such lucky children to have a mummy like you. Good luck at the pub. Hope you get lots of tips Take care x

sal1309 · 21/05/2010 08:50

thanks basl thats very nice
i think the only reason i have took the bar job on is for a bit of sanity/adult conversation as im sick to death of just being mummy/wife/cook/cleaner ect.

well been up since 5.30 and have put 2 loads of washing on and put it on the line, hoovered and wiped surfaces down. I am know going to have a brew and my toast.

tooloudhere · 21/05/2010 09:13

hi just popping in with a q, asked on main topic but no answers. Has anyone had a miwheels (cameleon lookalike) I would like to get one but am hesitant for some reason. Many Thanks

carrielou2007 · 21/05/2010 10:05

Morning all, lovely and hot and sunny here

Dd is fine now but I woke up in he night and now I have d and v . Had sky man coming and he was here on the dot of 8am which we love suff early but I must look a sight. Might reach my two stone loss at this rate though

Tooloud I have both, miwheels it exactly the same as cam, I have both. I sold the seat unit, carrycot unit, shopping basket, raincover and canvas covers and replaced withbug stuff so there is no whay you can tell that it is miwheels. Only difference is there is no bug sticker or chasis number on te frame. I think even if you are not into your prams it is such a fantastic package for the price and comes with all the access.

tooloudhere · 21/05/2010 10:26

thanks for that carrielou, I am seriously into prams (have 6 currently here) and want a cam for new baby due soon but dh not keen on cost I did make the mistake of showing him the new red denim one though. By the time I have got every thing bugaboo not sure I would have actually saved anything which I suppose is what is holding me back as would have still spent a fair amount but no real warranty or anything.

Should really sell everything else to fund but its like shoes each one has a different purpose and I somehow manage to justify keeping them.

nicolamumof3 · 21/05/2010 10:28
