Evening ladies, I am going to name or shame my little Olivia. She still wears napies at night and she is 4. So Maxy please don't feel like you have to do what everyone else does.
Now olivia had the biggest poo when she was toilet training and bled.Hence weeks of going ot a clinic to talk her into going to do a poo. She would cry in the middle of no wear and i would have to put a nappy on for her to poo. So bloody awfull you have no idea. I am a person with no self belief but on hind sight i solved my little girls problems. Simple equation Doctors + Daddy who did not get it + mummy upset with sister dead + mummy going back too work + husband who likes the house tidey + mummy takes it into her own hands and tells the stupid health author people to shuv it. Olivia was so constipated one night i had to pull poo out of her. I am so sorry but i am soooo angry with life just now. I think i am a bloody good mum and have suffered the most excruciating pain with my sister dying but nothing should come in the way of my children. I love them so much and had the most wonderful day at a deer park with my best friend big sister. My kids laughed and played and jumped and sang while i cried on a mobile phone to my work to say i will not be in as i had to speak to a manager. My Manager cried back to me and said Marie you are a such a professional i had no idea. Thats the way i am so nice blah de blah but i have a broken heart just now and all i can think about is my children. I spent the most wonderful day with them without my husband and i am slowly learning i am a wonderful person too. I love my husband so much and been together for 15 years but somewhere and my big sister things it is since my little sister [my best friend] died i have lost my way. We had daniel after her death and my husbands illness and woooow i thing i took on too much. I can hardly breath typing this and i would like to thank the most precious people ever Maxy, nicola, 5in sal flyme dis bexie diva flme hmg and anyone i forgot i am sorry. You have been so kind to me and i wonder what i would do without you all sorry i will chat tomorrow. 5in not the kind of rambling you where looking for.

horsemadgal · 16/05/2010 23:34

basl, mail me if you're still up. I can relate to a lot of what you are saying.

maxybrown · 16/05/2010 23:35

sniff.......love you Basl xxx

BexieID · 16/05/2010 23:43

aww basl {{{{{hugs}}}}} Had tears to my eyes reading that. I know how frustraing it can be. Tom still has a nappy at night and will only poo in a nappy. Hes not had any bleeding going though, he just refuses to use potty or toilet.

I've been seeing a family support worker who we initially saw regarding potty training. Tom wasn't dry during the day when he started nursery back in August, but he is now. Now we see her about his behaviour, especially towards Erin. He's always hitting her, lifting her head and letting it drop back. We've been trying time out/naught chair for weeks but he's still doing it. Last night he whacked her on the head with a small jewellery box!

I hate taking him to toddler group or just going out with kids as I know he'll get at her. Having her in the Skate is slightly better. We give him loads of attention. He'll be out for the day and will come running in and hit her. DP did tell him the other night that he'd be taken away from mummy and daddy if he keeps hurting Erin. He did burst into tears and gave her a hug and kiss, but he's still doing it.

His eating isn't great either. Typical day: Breakfast - Shreddies, Lunch - peanut butter on toast & pom bears if he eats some/all, a few buttons/stars after nursery, dinner - maybe some carrots/mash or chips/pastry and trifles/grapes for afters.

nicolamumof3 · 17/05/2010 08:43

Basl im crying

you are such a lovely lovely lady never doubt yourself. you are a lovely mummy your children always so bright and happy and that is YOU that has done that.

I am always here to talk be kind to yourself my lovely

basl · 17/05/2010 09:27

Sorry nicola, Little outburst in my usual style eh. That was as clear as mud again. I should not type exactly what i am thinking really. For anyone who must be thinking what the hell is she going on about. My husband and I are working on possible separation. I asked him to leave yesterday but as yet there is no solution and we don't have enough money for him to go but it looks like thats what is on the cards. I was very upset yesterday but had a really wonderful day at a deer park. Not one bit of trouble from Daniel as he could run riot and not bother anyone. He loved it.

Bexie i had a really bad time with Olivia when Daniel was born. He was born in July and she started Nursery in August and i think that was rather bad timing to be honest. She felt pushed out and everything new with nursery and i think her really bad behaviour mixed with the tiredness of new baby was really hard going. He will get better and i think it sounds so much like Olivia only she was more tantrums than hitting. It is really hard i feel for you but i am sure it will settle down. Olivia is such a delight now and really no bother at all. If he is holding on to poo's it can really effect their moods and it is so weird to watch Olivia after she has been to the toilet she looks so relieved iykwm and happy. Does he still have trouble?

Disenchanted3 · 17/05/2010 09:51

carrielou2007 · 17/05/2010 10:30

Morning, basl you sounded so sad, you are such a lovely mummy to your lovely children and if your hubbie needs time apart to see what a pratt he is a lucky man he is what he has and what he's missing then so be it

Dd was up in the night and this morning being sick poor wee thing, she couldn't even manage dry toast even though she said she was hungry, she's asleep on the rug with two blankets over her now. Ds is screeching (really found his voice!!) and rolling around by her and I have all the windows open and my house still smells of sick!!!

Well done on the p and t Nicola

carrielou2007 · 17/05/2010 10:33

Forgot to say dd still wears pull ups at night, I tried leaving a potty in her room but she was so sleepy she tripped over it spilling wee everywhere and she hasn't managed to get to her bathroom yet(only next door). She was quite late being potty trained though then trained v quickly but night times she just can't get yet.

basl · 17/05/2010 10:37

Thank you Carrie Have you tried bicarbonate of soda for the sick smell. Works a treat. Hope your dd is ok. Olivia had that last week but soon passed. lol at your Ds finding his voice.

5inthebed · 17/05/2010 10:51

Oh Basl, huge hugs! You are one of the sweetest people I've ever "met". I think you're fantastic! Sorry to hear about you and your H seperating . You're a great mam, you deserve a lot better. The deer park sounds lovely, glad you all enjoyed yourselves yestersday.

And no, not the rambling I was expecting, but if it helps to get it off your chest, then ramble away I say!

nicolamumof3 · 17/05/2010 11:24

hi ladies am back from sandal shopping with Tate. He tried on some ricosta's fitted him perfect (he has v.narrow feet) but they weren't even leather and cost £38.95 i didn't like them!

P&T paid and collected!

5inthebed · 17/05/2010 12:02

MMMMMMMMMMM my Cadbury hamper has arrived. There is far too much chocolate there! I think I'll have to share it with DH . Pity I started back on my diet today!

Eek about the price of sandles! I'm going to get DS3 a few pairs of Doodles I think. He will look cute in them.

So how much profit did you make on it Nicola?

basl · 17/05/2010 12:13

Well done nicola, all that scrubbing paid off . Why are shoes and sandals so expensive? Olivias Geox boots zip has burst so we are off back to shop this week to complain. The cost a small fortune.

Good for you 5in back on your diet. Just have a little treat now and again

horsemadgal · 17/05/2010 14:53

Well done 5in, there's no such thing as too much chocolate though.

maxybrown · 17/05/2010 16:55

You can always pop some in the post to me i could just stuff myself with it at the minute, and I'm not that big into chocolate
