Colours??? Help!!

Since my missus & I have found out she is pregnant, we have been constantly trekking down nursery stores. Although I will leave the pram choice up to her, I want a say in the colour, after all I will be pushing it too! I like cream and/or beige which makes the little lady laugh as she wants a navy colour! I think navy is so plain and dark even when contrasted with another colour!

Just as a matter of interest, I would like to know what colours people go for when buying a pram. It doesn't have to be cream or navy as her mind changes like the weather!

Any ideas will be appreciated

Don't get cream or anything else light, children are mucky little things once they get past the newborn stage. It really doesn't matter.

I can't believe I just responed to a post about pushchair colours.

Black always good, can accessories with different coloured footmuff/bag etc.

Definately not cream or beige. I spent forever trying to keep my pram clean, it was a nightmare!

Agree with horsemadgal. You can completely change the look of a plain pushchair with different coloured/patterned footmuff, bag, and liners in summer. You can also get custom made hoods, harness and bumper bar covers. Add to that all the attachable pushchair toys you can get, and it will be a riot of colour. No-one will even notice the navy or black base colour.

I didn't think of the cleaning, I was hoping to leave that down to her as she seems to like cleaning things

Black isn't too bad though! Never really thought of a dark colour as brighter colours stand out more and look pretty!

I've seen a few white about but I dare not suggest that to her!

Black is great as you can accessorize with liners/parasols etc in any colour then! pink for a girl, blue for a boy etc if thats what you want. Can also then be used for any other babies you have later on
