Can a bugaboo cameleon user possibly answer this question?

I have just acquired a second hand cameleon and so want to give it a very good wash! it is not entirely clear to me which bits can be machine washed and which can't. Specifically, can you machine wash the seat bit, the part of it in the base fabric colour rather than the other colour, the part with the semi-solid ridged back support bit? It seems like the solid parts are too solid to be washed but I can't work out how to get them out. Any advice much appreciated!!

Yes, you can wash the base colour ridged fabric seat bit. Well, I did anyway and it turned out fine. You've got to remove the bit of hardboard and the foam insert from the seat base first, but once that's out it's ok to put in the machine.
Think I washed it on 30 degrees, as per label. It did seem a bit tight to put back on the frame afterwards, but I remember that we had the same trouble BEFORE we washed it when we changed from pram to seat mode.

Forgot to mention that the main seat part did seem a bit big to fit in the machine, because of the rigid back, but DH managed to somehow "gently" push it in !(I was a bit concerned it would bust the machine...)Twas fine in the end, though.

you can wash absolutely all of the fabrics, with the exception of the hardboard bottom of the carrycot (velcro comes off) the foam mattress cant be washed, and the foam seat pad and hardboard support need to come out before you wash too. Just flip the seat pad over and you can see where the pocket is that has the foam and board in.

Also, if you are washing the shopping basket, do take the plastic support out first, it fits in the machine a lot easier!
30 degree delicates does for us.
nothing higher temp than that though, otherwise it damages the fire retardant layer and makes the fleece fabrics go all crinkly.
If you put it back on the seat unit still wet, and air dry rather than in the airing cupboard, its wont shrink.
