Help: Double buggy wanted for tall parents!

I went through four buggies with DS1 because they were all too low.

Finally settled on the Maclaren Techno XT, which was brilliant.

Now that baby number 2 is on the way, I'm looking for a double buggy that both me (5ft10) and my DH (6ft3) can use without getting sore backs!

Any ideas?

I don't want to rely on a sling as I don't think my post-pregnancy back could take the strain. Not really keen on a buggy board - what happens if both children want to have a nap at the same time?

I rarely use public transport, so the buggy doesn't need to fold up too small.

Thanks!

Then i would definately say the baby Jogger city elite which you can buy from ebay new in 2009 colourway brown stone black for £249. A bargain it has lots of onboard storage. Generous seat sizes as you may also breed tall kids! Parent consoles included as standard. Adjustable calf rest, and awesome quickfold system. Don't think there's a better buy out there. Handle height adjustable definately great for tall parents. I have the single version.

Phil and Ted's Vibe has an adjustable handle which has been great - DH over 6 feet, I'm about 5'8 and we've been comfortable with it in its middle position - so the higher one might work for you.

the teutonia double is just like our spirit s3 and has an adjustable handle. the single has been great and if i ever need a double i will get one of these. have a look on www.pingpong-online.com/ for the range although it is now cheaper to buy from th uk because of the euro exchange rate. dp who needs the tall handles says that the handle height is about the same as the techno, although it is easier to push than the techno as there is no back bar to kick iykwim.

I'm 5'11 and dh is 6'5 and a phil and teds sport does us fine. We also both liked the silver cross pop duo.

Thanks for your suggestions. I like the look of the baby jogger and the double nipper.

Is the Phil & Teds Vibe handle really tall enough? I pushed a friends P&T and still found it a bit low...
