After all the looking at travel systems, have now appreciated that i don't want it thrown in the hold. Having spent a lot on an icandy, want to keep it working! So although DD will only be 4 months when we travel, now need a pushchair which goes fairly flat to take with us.

Cannot face the huge trawl through products again, so ladies, which do you recommend?! Suspect i'll get a better asnswer here than by going through specs of tens of pushchairs!!

I guess it will come in handy in the future anyway to have a spare!

Many thanks!

maclaren quest

hi, we had this with ds when he was 6 months old and just out of his carrycot. we got a maclaren techno xt with a travel bag to protect it. glad we did and didn't use out big pram as the bag was ripped the last time i got it back off the baggage reclaim.

ds slept very well in it and it has a large hood with a sun visor that pulls down if you're going anywhere sunny.

I wouldn't use the Quest personally as I don't think it reclines enough. I've just gone and brough a Baby Jogger City Mini because of the fantastic sunhood but you may not want to spend that much (£162)
