Phil & Teds Sport - what DOESN'T it come with?

I think we've decided on the Sport (or maybe the Dash) for DS1 (who will be 18 months old when DD1 arrives) and DD1.

We obviously intend to use it as a double. What I want to know is (and it's not 100% clear from the website) what is included and what isn't?

Do I need to buy the 2nd chair, if we want to use it as a double when DD is a bit older? Is the cocoon sold separately?

Basically, we intend to use it as a double from arrival of DD1 as a newborn, through until it's a proper pushchair for both DCs. What do I need to buy to ensure that we have everything to carry them through?

Any advice appreciated!

Buy cocoon, raincover, second seat, footmuff all seperately unless it is a bundle deal. Good offers on Kiddicare usually.

The cocoon is tiny though, I only had one because it was part of the offer. It only lasted a few weeks before DS grew out of it.

if you buy the cocoon for the vibe it is bigger and will last for much longer

Thanks so much - good to know that about the vibe cocoon. I assume it fits into the sport no probs?

Will try Kiddicare.

Thanks!

yes i am wanting one of these too and went to have a look in Mothercare - Mothercare are very expensive but they will price match anywhere and also give you 10-% off if you join the mother and baby club thing....

tartyhighheels · 18/04/2010 14:26

the cheapest i found for the sport double a vibe cocoon and a raincover was £401.99 from practical pushchairs - so far and if mcare will give another 10% off that will be a bargain

Octotunes · 18/04/2010 15:20

I think when I tried that Mothercare would price match another shops in store price but wouldn't price match an online price, might be worth checking.

I've bought a pushchair from Kiddicare recently, though I could have bought it slightly (about £12 I think) cheaper from Practical Pushchairs but was warned by a friend that their returns policy isn't brilliant, again, maybe worth checking?
