Sure they weren't this complicated last time!

Pram has to be suitable for...

in and out of car regularly (Probably a fiesta or Yaris)

cobbled streets and tiny shops

steps in & out of house/garden

will be having a c-section

No idea where to start, any suggestions?

try and inherit one - saves having to think about it. life is too short to spend hours in a ghastly pram shop being told how to say 'jane'

Thought of that , only person I know with a baby has a gorgeous silver cross but doesn't go in cars!

Still need help!

Today's expedition to large pram shop

Pram #1 didn't fit in the car
Pram #2 wouldn't fold , none of the stafffcould get it to even with instructions & we both tried so wrote that off
Pram#3 was quinny buzz which was £££ and not sure it was good enough on cobbles
Pram#4 was cheap, light, folded small again don't think it would begreat on cobbles. Carry cots released in next couple of weeks
Pram#5 was reduced ex display. Not convinced on it being small enough& no proper basket for shopping.

So back to drawing board.

buy second hand on ebay or out of preloved etc.
Dont buy a maclaren or anything umberella folding because of the cobbles. Your poor baby will be bounced all over the place.
Dont under any circumstances buy a quinny buzz, unless you never have to go through doors/over rough/ground/need to put shopping in basket.

The bugaboo cam may be a 2 piece fold, but I found I could have the whole thing from up with baby inside to folded with back wheels off in under 2 minutes. Doesnt take long at all once you have the knack. And babies really do sleep so well because of the beautiful suspension. Its the rolls royce of buggies IMHO. And it will do cobbles. And you will still be able to steer it round tiny shops with one hand even when your baby has grown into a chunky toddler. Even better, it will still be working perfectly, even after 4 years of use, you only have to see the number of them second hand on ebay which have done 2 or more kids and are still going strong.
