hi
my little daughter is 4 months old and is growing out of the cocoon on the Phil and Teds sport. She can hold her head up but cannot sit up. I have looked at the manual and am unsure what position to have the pram for her. Do i keep it flat or just do the zips up (sleepy mode) or just do the clips up so it is in an upright position but not the most upright (with zips up as well)

many thanks

My 4 month old DD is almost out of her cocoon too. I need to use mine in doubles mode though so my only choice is the doubles seat on it's 1 laid back option! Tried it yesterday and she seemed OK. The 5 point harness really helps with holding her up. I've considered getting a head support to use at first just to keep her upright.

In singles mode, I'd probably try a head support and start with just the zips up. You can damage thier backs and hips if you sit them up for too long too soon - which is why those pushchairs that use the car seat are such a bad idea.

I'll have to cram my DD into the cocoon for as long as possible I think.

you can keep them in the lie flat bit without the cocoon - just use a sheet or lambskin
