Hi all, Has anyone slimed the tyres on the p&t ? How do you do it? Where do you get it from? How does it help?

Yes.
Halfords - their own orange coloured brand, or a green version made by someone else.
Instructions are on the bottle - easy to follow. I've put a third of a bottle in each tyre.
It stops punctures - blocks any hole the moment they appear. Do it - I almost had to carry two kids the best part of a mile home when we picked up a thorn from hedge cutting. Since 'sliming', so far so good......

I did it on my old Urban Detour and it worked very well, I bought the slime online, from Evans I think or possibly Halfords. Here's a handy hint - if you're going to do it indoors on a carpet put some newspaper down first. (It was about 4 years ago and I still haven't quite forgiven DH. )

If you're going to be going over very sharp things like slate or broken glass then you can also buy a strip that goes between the tyre and the inner tube.
