Tall parents and child

Hi there

I need a lightweight stroller for my 9 month old baby (who is as tall as the average 16 month old), with parents at 5 ft 8 and 6 ft 3! I want one that will last and not cost a fortune too, if possible!

Any recommendations?

maclaren XTs have handles that go up to 110 cms which is quite high in comparison to other strollers/prams.

Saves your back if you're tall and quite roomy for the child. I rate it highly and mine has lasted nearly 3 years and no probs.

We have a Maclaren Techno XT as the handles adjust quite high. We are both very tall and this pushchair is great (after much searching). It lasted for my first who went in it until he was 3.5 and now we are using it again and fully expect it to last second baby. They are brilliant pushchairs and we cannot fault ours. They are quite pricey (£180 approx) but def worth it. Plus you can get different designs. We bought pink head cushion and pink foot muff as our second baby was a girl and it was grey and boyish.

Baby Jogger city mini. I'm 5' 7. Got really bad back using Maclaren techno xt. Something to do with angle of handles, 2 handed push, and poor pavements. Have no prob with city mini though.
Also seat more comfy on baby Jogger and seems better made so although not cheap better value.
