I have just sold my zapp as I hated it and was tempted by the zia as it reclines and has a basket...but am worried it will still be a pain on cobbles/beach and feel unstable.

I dont really need another buggy but I want one (IYKWIM) My son is walking more and more but I just cant handle him all the time without a buggy. I can borrow his beat up M&P buggy from him dad but I hate it! Plus this one can be used for any future addition)

Thinking about a BCJM...have been for ages.

Firstly whats the chances of getting one second hand for less than £100? Plus why is everywhere out of stock at mo??

Secondly does the child feel too laid back in it?

Also is it likely to any good on cobbbles/ beach etc??

Plus I am only 5ft2 so is the handle likely to be a problem?

The upright is quite reclined but my DD seems happy to just sit upright herself, I tend not to strap her in unless we are going on the train or on very uneven ground. I haven't tried it on a beach, but it's fine on cobbles.

Everywhere is out of stock because it's a great pushchair. I don't think there are all that many second-hand ones around because it's only been on the market for just over a year so even those who bought it when it first came out are probably still using it.

The handle is quite high, which I love because most pushchairs give me backache. The best thing to do would be to try it in a shop and see how it feels.

Thank you. I think I am going to have to get my SIL to let me try her. She has one and when I saw it I was gutted...especially when I realised (months later) that it was the one I saw new for £70 and whilst deciding she snapped it up!

I just got a second hand BJCM this week for £100 on gumtree. It came with footmuff an raincover too so when I saw it I jumped on it! considering what some of them sell for on ebay...........

have to say, I'm absolutely loving it! have been through several pushchairs in the last few months and this one is fab fab fab! My 2 year old is a heavy boy and this makes him feel as light as a feather.......and we had it on a beach today and it was great (on the wet hard part of the beach, not the dry sand, had to drag it backwards across that part like any other pushchair!)

Also, I'm 5ft 3 and handle height not a problem for me.

i'd say keep your eyes open for 2nd hand. definitely worth it!

Thank you. Will only buy if less than £100 as I think my DP would shoot me!

I've got one and I'm 4'11 and the handle is fine. I use a buggy board with it too.

Thank you peachygirl. Going to look out for a cheap secondhand one.
