I bought what I think is a barginous volo for £5 at the carboot yesterday. It is an old one (2004) but now I've cleaned it looks pretty good. It doesn't have a hood or raincover which I don't think it came with originally IIRC this model you had to buy the accessory pack as an extra.

So will any volo hood fit this age of volo? Also I can't seem to get the brakes to work is there a special knack to them? Have tried just pressing downwards on the little sticky out bit, but nothing happens.

I have a volo and no hood, to be honest I've never got round to buying one (bad mummy) as we don't go out much in the rain anyway. But I was going to say, I think a framed raincover would do the job even without a hood. They're about £11 in argos iirc.

ooh, reduced to £9.59 actually, think I'll finally get one!
