icandy cherry?

Hi please could you tell me about this?
Want a rear facing lightweight suitable for tube buses etc, have been reading that it is not very reliable but that might be in the past.
Would you get one second hand? Anyone had a solo or bee and can compare them

I don't think it folds with the seat attached, so perhaps not too great on public transport? I've been looking for something to use on a bus and am struggling to find anything apart from a Bee which is just so expensive.

i have one & love it. can be a bit awkward on buses sometimes because it's not as compact as, say, a bugaboo bee, but i go all over the place by bus & it's never been a problem. back wheels are also fine for bumping up & down steps. it does fold with the seat unit attached but doesn't go v flat when the seat is fully reclined.

i paid £340ish for the stroller & carrycot combo about a year ago - got it from babybaby in west wickham who give a 10% discount for paying the full amount up front. try emailing a few stockists & asking for their best price.

I've got a ICandy Cherry and love it. Sadly I don't get to use it all that much nowadays though as need a double. The only downside to it is that you can't fold with the seat attached. If you could I would give it 10/10. I think the earlier Cherry's did have some problems but the manufacturers have solved them so no worries with any you may buy today.

I have one and really really love it! The reason you can't find out much about the price online is that they only sell through stockists e.g. John Lewis but it is very easy to just call John Lewis and find out what they're selling it for. It has been really fantastic for our baby. It is very easy to fold and unfold, and to switch in the carrycot, car seat and pushchair units. Our baby was very happy in the carrycot until he started to want to look around and then we started using the pushchair with the lovely fleece footmuff which is so nice and cozy. I love having him face me when out and about, it is lovely to be able to chat and see his expression. It has been reliable so far and great to use. I am now looking for a lightweight stroller to use for travel and to leave at grandparents house but we certainly won't stop using our cherry. Only negative - I don't think it's fantastic for public transport as it is hard to fold with the seat attached and it doesn't fold with the carrycot attached (although very few travel systems do). On the other hand it is lovely and light.

I also have one and love it (as does my DD). There was a problem previously with the front wheels, but this has been rectified (the staff in the pram shop we got it from talked about how impressed they were with the way icandy handled it, and I've had no problems a year down the line). It's great - lightweight but sturdy enough. The only thing is that it's not brilliant for buses. It CAN be folded with the seat unit attached, but only if it's forward facing, and it's a bit bulky that way. I suppose you could just flip the seat into forward facing mode on days you're going to be out and about on public transport - but it's not a one-handed job and there's no doubt that something like a Maclaren is hugely easier with one hand.
