Problems with Maclaren Quest

Hi I have a Maclaren Quest bought in Sept last year off ebay in excellent condition but with out box or instructions

It is the design with the apples on the seat fabric in black and green this is their 2009 version so I assume that it could have only been 9 months old tops when I bought it

Anyway nearly everytime I use it the folding mechanism starts itself off, you know the bit that you pull up with your foot and then you'd push down the side lever to actually get it to fold, I keep having to press it back down with my foot

Also the raincover is very very tight (it is the original one it says Maclaren on it anyway) and it seems a bit of a struggle to get it on, especially compared to my friends quest

And the seat doesn't lie as flat as it should it can't recline to the last position ifthe back wind guard thing is around the seat like it should be

Apart from all this I love this buggy it's thebest one I've had and don;t want to buy another......but any ideas

definitely sounds faulty to me? and rather unsafe however v.little you can do without recept/sovereign warranty sorry.

well i know you got it from ebay, but IMO you have nothing to lose by contacting maclaren and asking about it.
they may be able to fix it, even if you end up paying a bit for that to be done.

If you look on the Maclaren website you will find a list of service agents you can take the pushchair to for repair. You won't be able to use the warranty as you purchased off ebay but you would be able to pay for repairs.
