M'care Xcursion vs Graco Symbio vs M&P Skoot vs Petite Star Kurvi

I've selected these 4 out of the few in my price range as ticking most of the boxes but I'm still all in a whirl. I have a while to wait but I do like to plan ahead so I'd love to hear others opinions and experiences of these prams to help me make an informed choice.

I'm totally skint so I need something that will last, hard-wearing, good for walking a lot with, not too hard to get on and off a bus, easy to fold. Like I said, these 4 have ticked most of the boxes on my want list but I'd love to know how they score on the rest.

Thanks Mumsnetters...you rock!

Also, what shops/where can I go to try a few out and have a play with them before I buy?

Out of all those, I'd say the Mothercare one looks the nicest. I like the denim one thay have atm. I've seen a few of them about and they are quite nice.

Your best bet is to go into a large Mothercare/John Lewis and have a try of a few prams.

Thanks 5inthebed. Had a play with an Xcursion yesterday and it seem quite nippy but we only have a small store with a limited number of models in...and most of those are Bugaboo's and Quinny's which I loathe the look of and would never even consider.

Do John Lewis have a good range in then?

Depends on your John Lewis. Ours has quite a few in.

Is there a Toys R Us near you? They have prams there as well.

BranflakeGirl · 12/03/2010 18:55

Our nearest Toys are us is Brighton...they had b*** all in and I nearly had a mega pg hissy fit having gone all that way for nothing.

Thanks though, you're a star! x

Hi just came across this thread and wondered if you had made a decision?I quite like the Graco Symbio at the moment, but Im now debating myself as I wasnt planning on spending quite so much! this is my second DD and we had hoped just to buy a buggy but when we got DD1's car seat etc out of loft it had been attacked by mold so we had to throw them away. Im now hoping to get something that will last well into toddler stage so I dont have to get another buggy later on.

Hubby and I decided on the Mothercare MyChoice (My4) rather than any of these. It's quite long so I think it will last into toddler years even with a long baby (quite common in my family) It ticks all the boxes for us at any rate.
