Zapp with dreami carrycot

i am hoping some of ladies will know the answer to this

I know quinny don't market the zapp to be used with the dreami carrycot, but I've seen a couple of ads for zapps with carrycot.

Given that it uses the same adaptors as the car seat, can anyone tell me why I couldn't use a dreami with the zapp? Or has anyone done it and what are the cons/pros?

Thanks

Ka

hi i have a zapp which i got for the school run when i was cm just to clip the car seat onto. i also used it as a buggy a few times but never found it very stable. the baby managed to tip it once while i was washing my hands-she managed to get her foot onto the bottom of the seat instead of the foot rest and pushed upwards and tipped the thing! so i was always wary of this and this was with her strapped in! so i wouldn't think it would be too stable with a carrycot. sorry!

oops!

it would be monumentally unstable.

Sounds very unsafe to me. I have the Dreami carrycot and a Zapp and it has never occurred to me to use them together. The Zapp is pretty useless and I rue the day I bought it.

Thank you ladies.
So the search for a travel system to fit in the boot of my ka continues.......

Tried the Mothercare spin yet?
The back wheels come off, so might be worth giving it a go?

What about Bebe Confort Streety The chassis folds like an umbrella fold so ite compact and light. Most packages come with the car seat as well. You have to buy the carrycot seperate as though.

Or

M&P Sola

Babystyle Oyster

Chiccoliving trio

an M&P Luna folds up nice and small and has a carrycot attachment. Total lie-flat seat is good, and it's a nice wide seat as well.
