hi im due in july and my toddler will be 2.5 then so currently deciding between the bjcm double and the nipper (on offer online boots at momoent) or just a normal buggy?!?!?! love the nipper most though, been and done bugs, maclarens etc etc (but like the look of new maclaren grand tour if i dont do for double) the nipper seems so much smaller to move about tho and lower handle, feels less like am having to lean waaaay over to see the seat spaces (when ive tried them in store at least) maybe because its 3 wheeler and narrows at front so you feel less like your pushing a tank about the place....my toddly walks like a trooper but am thinking nice long summer days/walks to toddle groups etc/park picnics and she is def still too little to manage a whole day with no sit down breather....know buggy board an option but personal feel that either she walks or gets proper chill in a seat if she chooses it, she gets that now,,,mummy cant do carries as tummy too full of baby and legs too tired! so she walks or buggys it! bless her, keeps giving me 'medicine' for my legs! i woulnt stand on a moving board for a rest, id go in a buggy!!...back to point...bjcm double or nipper?!?! i say nipper...i think!!! really it is light and sporty and the newborn strap thingy looks snug enough for a summer baby....been reading on here bout p and t cocoons in them though...could be handy ...the nipper footmuffs may do that job though, look soooo cosy for cooler summer days/autumn, big inbuilt hood part....does anyone know do they fold with the footmuff on? x

I had the nipper double - if it fits in and out of your front door easily and if you can leave it set up somewhere in your house you will love it. However, IF you can't fit it in your front door - and if you need to fold it and carry it into the house to put away everytime you use it - then it will be a pita!
In use the nipper double is fab - but It would not fit in my front door (by about 2cm!) and there was no room to leave it set up in the house - and our garage is seperate to the house and it wasn't convenient to leave it set up there and out the front of the house is all open plan - so couldn't just leave it on the front during the daytime.
I found it hard to fold and carry in and out - even though its a light pram - because the folding method is to pull two pins out - then fold - making sure you push reclined seats forwards.... and once folded it is awkward to hold/carry! The baby jogger city mini is soooo convenient from that point of view very easy to fold and carry.
If you're looking for a double jogger with air tyres - you might also look at the baby jogger city elite jogger - it's been on ebay for less than £200 new recently. I would personally choose the baby jogger over the nipper for quality and ease of folding. I think the baby jogger offers more quality and durability for the money - nippers had a bit of a cheaper "made in china" feel to them - although nice to use and light. Baby joggers are also light.
In short the nippers are a right royal pita to fold and the nipper footmuffs are very small - quickly outgrown.

ooooo thats good points will def check out the baby jogger city elite then, have seen the woman in john lewis basically fail to fold the nipper properly while my toddler ran riot so that is a niggle at back of my mind, it would be able to stay set up in the house though so thats good but id still be folding it for the car when we went out n about (pun intended). more thought needed! good job not due till july!!! want to make best choice though as stopping work so cant be a pushchair swapper like i used to be! also assume i wont have much chance with toddler and newborn....unless everyones wrong and its a walk in the park having two!?! thanks for info troubadour.

I would choose the baby jogger - having tried both. The nipper was a pita to fold - so if you're going to do it more than once a week - you'll get narked I think!

Baby jogger is bigger - but not much heavier - and easier to get your little ones in and out - as seats a bit higher up - still got fab hood to keep sun/rain off.

there is a black one too for an extra £30 or so - I have bought from this seller - and found them to be very quick on delivery, and great on service.

ooh, just realised this city elite one has the handlbar console included too!

I've decided to stick with my bjcm. I saw a nipper today and the shipping basket is non existant. Just a pouch on the back of each seat.
I can get a week's worth of shopping on my BJCM!
