affordable rear facing pushchairs?

We've currently got a nasty Graco travel system, but when DS outgrows the car seat, want to replace it with a parent facing pushchair. Trouble is, our budget isn't huge, and I'm struggling to convince DP of the need for a new pushchair! (this despite the current one being total crap) I really want to have DS facing me, as he gets whiny when he can't see me in the current forward facing chair, plus I like to see my boy! (PFB I'm afraid)

any ideas? I'm trawling ebay too, but if anyone has recommendations, that'd be great. thanks!

Hauck Infinity goes very cheap second hand sometimes. Even new you can get excellent deals.
Loola are liked by some...... said to be heavy by others.
Vigours are nice! I had one.
Mamas and Papas MPX systems go cheap on ebay too.

I second the hauck infinity - DD loves it (only place she'll sleep in the day!) and I think its quite sturdy too. Only problem is that it doesn't fold down too small which is a problem if you have a car with a small boot.

I have to travel abroad in a couple of weeks time with my 3 month old. I am looking for a cheap rearfacing foldable for the journey.
Needs to fbe adjusted to lying position.
Any suggestions?

Bebecar streety?

bebeconfort streety was on offer at www.kiddicare.com recently for only £139 - might still be there if you look - comes with car seat also at that price!
