Do I need a new twin buggy?

DT's are 21 mths and have a great Easywalker Duo. However, the seats aren't really upright enough for them now and when we go out as a family it takes up every inch of available boot space so it would be lovely to have something easy to push with an umbrella fold.

Is it worth it at this stage - I can't remember what age the older chidren were when they stopped using the pram altogether. DT's are starting to walk a bit now when we're out but tbh with two of them it's often easier to have them restrained!!

Have had a quick glance at M&P Pulse Twin buggy - it looks nice and we have had a single pulse and found it okay for the job. But it's £275. I imagine the McLaren Techno is going to be something around the same price.

Any recommendations/advice please. Thanks!

Maclaren twin techno is lovely i had one when ds was 2 and dd 10mnths, it was nice to push for a stroller one, folds small, not much bigger than my single techno, good size comfy seats and a nice long seat when layed down for a nap! my DS is now 31mnths and i cant see myself stopping using a buggy for a while yet, infact i just brought a new phil and teds, best double ever, but i do need it as a single when hes bigger for dd!

You might struggle a bit pushing a pulse now that they're bigger, very small wheels. Depends where you're pushing but you'll miss those air tyres! What about a 2nd hand maclaren, they don't go for too much on here or TAMBA boards? I have a baby jogger city mini which I'm very pleased with, I didn't much like the mac quest I had years ago, I may just get rid of mountain buggy when they're 2ish and use that for a while but again it's not that easy to push with them both in on rough ground.
Could you keep easywalker for home/walks and buy a 2nd hand double maybe? You could probably make seats more upright fairly easily, I was going to cut some foam soon for my mountain buggy as ds3 is getting a little frustrated I think (or stick a blanket behind them).
I was thinking of a single + buggy board for when they're 2 1/2 maybe. 21 months seems a bit young for no buggy when you're out and about.
I tried a p&t (just sold it!) with them and hated it, does not work for twins at all IMHO!

Thanks JJandtheBeans and Accessorizequeen. We've a stable full of prams here - have a P&T but don't think the girls will like it and it's still bulky for boot. Yes, maybe a 2nd hand buggy is the answer. Plan to use Easywalker around home as we live in country and plastic tyres definitely won't suit our roads . Shall examine seats to see if there's anything we can do as a short-term fix.

Thanks ladies!
