Bugaboo bee or micralite toro

I think I've got it down to these two - but which one!

I need something i can use from birth so will need the cot/cocoon, I have a narrow hall so need something narrow. Mostly go for walks to town or along the river.
Heard about people kicking back wheels of toro - does it happen if you're average height? However prefer that it goes flat.

Which would you choose?

I would have the Toro but then I love all things micralite. I have the new rider board and it is AMAZING! Never kicked back wheels either.

I have a Toro never kicked the back wheels but then i'm not as tall as i'd like,it's a great buggy can push easily one handed even with a larger child (5 year old dd sometimes catches a lift while ds walks) but if your hallway is narrow i should warn you that the front wheeels are quite wide although it is eay to fold.

I think the Toro would be better long term, the seat of the Bee is tiny!

Hi, i am 6 months pregs and am also very confused whether to buy the Micralite Toro or the new Bugaboo bee..

Are you mothers still happy that you bought the micralite toro? I am a bit concerned that the baby has to be in the cot from newborn till about 6 months and cant have her sitting up (or so i have been told?).

Also, is it possible to fold the toro single-handed??

I think you might get away with the seat from about 4 months.
I have a fast fold, i'm 5'7" and have a long stride. I did occasionally kicked the rear wheels. When i bought the rider board i bought the extension handles and now i never kick the back. They're fab. Really ergonomic. I also have the off road front wheels which are awesome. Makes the buggy truly off road.

I had FF and did occasionly kick the back wheels (i'm 5ft2). Would love a Toro and wished i'd got one from Kiddicare last year when they had them for about £110. But I didn't know I was pregnant at the time and Tom being almost 3 was too big!

Kiddicare had toro's for £110?! Wow. I missed that one. :-(

It was last year though that with the Toros. Wish i'd just got one and put it away for the next baby anyway. Was even more annoyed when I found out I was pregnant a few weeks later. Lots of people bought one or two to ebay for profit.

I still love my Toro 2 years later. I use it everywhere and don't (often) kick the back wheels, but I'm 5'2".

I'm pg again and looking to get the Rider and new ergo handles. Love that it steers well with one hand. And I have a narrowish hallway, too, and don't find Toro as wide as some other pushchairs. And it folds so nicely, and stands up on it's wheels, which is so handy.

I think I put DS in the upright seat at about 5-6 months, but he's smallish so he didn't outgrow carrycot until then. Wasn't a problem for me.
