Just wondering if anyone had been to the glasgow pram centre and if so what it is like? Do they have alot of pushchairs to look at..and are you allowed to have a go with them?
I know they are meant to be bad for ordering, but i just want to go and have a look really.

Haven't been, but just wanted to say we ordered online without any probs and delivery was really quick. Sorry, not really helpful

We ordered from them for our first 10 years ago and they were fine with no problems. We didn't visit though because we are up North, past Inverness.

We tried the pram locally and then bought it there because they were the cheapest at the time.

Yep, they've got quite alot of prams in there and it's fine to try them out.

PacificDogwood · 30/01/2010 10:23

Yes, they have lots and lots of choice and it was fine to try prams out, push them, fold them, try different bits on them.

In the end I did not buy from them though because the pushy hardsell was really quite annoying .

Lots of choice in other nursery equipment as well, but I did not find anything particularly keenly priced.

Worth a trip for information if nothing else.

It'll probably be really busy tomorrow and there's not a huge lot of room.

I've only bought a car seat from them but they were fab, tried it in my car etc. Didn't get a hard sell but then I knew what I wanted.

There's also Babykins out at Hillington, I found them good too.

Or if you are at the other side of Glasgow there's Jan Stewart in East Kilbride. Don't let the snotty assistants put you off though.
