tell me about it please- it is worth £65 (plus the booster at £20)?? looking for something to keep 23month dd warm in a maxi cosi mura 3 (and others!!) I really like the lodger bunker idea and the framboise pink is beautiful but is it worth spending £85 on a footmuff- people spend less on an actual buggy !

mmme think you can pick up a kaiser footmuff for a lot less. They are very warm, are bigger (last longer) and you can get a waterproof version too....
this shop sells them
as does here
even a pink one on ebay

ooooh i like the army pink one! would match my skip hop bag!!

I have a lodger bunker and it is fab. DS is 2.4 almost. I don't know what you mean about the booster though? What is that?

I love mine, fabulous. I get people touching it on the bus and then loads of people asking about them. Ds likes it because when he gets hot he can just fling it open and it won't trail on floor or equally cover himself back up!

Ah just had a look at one. odd though as they come in 2 parts anyway. they are so cosy and thick, I can't imagine why you would EVER need that? Very confused now!

Mine is here on my XLR

I have the framboise one, it has been excellent and very warm in this cold weather. It is the best footmuff I've had. HOWEVER I bought it second-hand on ebay and I doubt I would have paid full price for it.

But then Buggy Snuggles are £50 plus new!

mum2GKH · 14/01/2010 21:49

Would recommend the bunker. Best footmuff I ever bought. Don't have doubts just get it. I got Kiddicare to price match a cheaper site called Lilymay. I noticed that they now sell the booster as a separate item but only if you want another liner as the bunker comes with the booster inside already so no need to spend another £20. Lodger says on their site they sell them separately so you can mix and match the liners. Hope that helps

maxybrown · 15/01/2010 09:23

Ah that ceared the liner issue up for me! thanks. I agree, it is best one I have had. After using it, my BS seems very flimsy in comparison

I have a lodger bunker and it is fantastic, DS is 5 months and it has been wonderful in this weather and when inside I can just open it up to keep him cool, in fact the only thing I find is he doesn't really need a coat on so have actually taken his coat off and left it in the car when out.

On another note DO NOT order from Lilimay, they do not send items and also do not refund, I've been stung for my Lodger Bunker and have been waiting since August 2009 for a refund after waiting 2 months for delivery and finally cancelling.
