Query - can you fold a mountain buggy double with the carrycot still attached?

Ok, I have the mountain buggy urban double pushchair in advance of DC3 being born sometime in the next month or so.

I'm going to use a single carrycot in it & a normal seat for DD2.

Can I fold the whole thing with the carrycot attached or does it need to stay permanently upright?

Carrycot on order otherwise I would be experimenting... & this impacts where I would store it.

Anyone with any experience - help please?

Many thanks

no, you can't

if you get the carrycot that clips on and off its easy to remove and then you can fold it. i had both the two singles and the twin version (i have twins)and it was easy to do. the single carrycot for the double buggy isnt as wide as the single carrycot for the single buggy so cant really be usd as long.

Thanks so much for all responses. Sounds as if once it's on, it stays on & the buggy stays up!

We're moving furniture as a result, much to DH's delight - not. Oh and removing the internal door to our porch...
