I have had a M&P pramette for the last four and a half years but have just about finished it off with the snow! I love this but don't really want to pay so much for my next one as DS is almost 11 months. I have a Zapp for quick trips but want something more comfy/robust for longer trips. Love the Mura 3 but worried it may not last as DS is quite chunky, so wondered about the Luna. Especially good as they are reduced at mo too!

i preferred my luna mix tbh looks wise and not so many about i've had both.

good pushchairs if you don't mind the floating harness but i suppose you are used to that with pliko.

I loved my Luna. Wide seat, easy to push, really light.
You can always get the liner to get round the floating harness.
I only sold mine as it doesn't work very well with a buggyboard.

Thanx for your advice. Think I will go with the Luna - just need to decide which colour!

Love mine. The only downfall with it is once when I was running with it cos I was late for an appointment it tipped forwards.

I have had a Luna and a Lunamix and am fed up with the Lunamix now. It looks good but compared to a Maclaren Techno XT for example it's just not as good.

Things that annoy me about mine are: the floating harness is a pain sometimes, it gets tangles a lot and never sits on the childs shoulders properly, I think the apron thing isn't warm enough for the winter so put a buggysnuggle on as well which doesn't fit well with the harness, it's quite big when folded compared to an umbrella fold, there's not storage pockets at the back, it's one long handle instead of two, I miss my Mac to hang things off the handle and the pockets, mine has started to pull to the right when steering it.

I'm not a mega Maclaren fan but had to use my old XT for a few days last week and it was so much better than the Lunamix really made me think about it.

I'm pregnant again and getting a Phil and Teds but once DD3 is out a pram am definitely going to get a Maclaren again.

Does your luna mix pull to the right when using it with 2 hands or just 1 hand? Was your original Luna easier to steer? Was one lighter to push than the other?

sweetkitty · 13/01/2010 21:43

Both hands, even DP noticed it.

I prefer the look of the Lunamix at the front seems less chunky IYSWIM

nappyaddict · 14/01/2010 22:06

Did the original luna pull to the side as well or just the luna mix?

sweetkitty · 15/01/2010 16:00

Just the Lunamix, the Luna was second hand and it was fine. It might just have been me, might have been a faulty one I don't know.

I like the OBaby Zoma in comparison to the Luna Mix. Lighter and has an adjustable leg rest as well.
