Cleaning a Maclaren Quest

Just had a look at the Quest that is kept at MILs. It is in a right state. Can I remove the entire cover and put it in the machine or will it be a case of scrubbing it by hand?

Also what is the best way to clean the hood?

yes the seat cover and hood will come off, put hood in pillow case and I do on a wool wash, should clean up easily . Otherwise a bar of vanish and a nail bush works wonders!!

as carrielou has saidi've washed many macs like this always come up fab. Thats why i like them so much so easy to maintain!
