is the Quinny speedi any good for a big toddler?

I've got a big 2 1/2 years old, I've always used the maclaren techno xt. I've recently broke the break, and when I sat him in the new xt it seemed smaller than my old one? (it's 5 years old) So I was thinking that a bigger 3 wheeler would be better for a bigger heavier child? I've looked around, and the speedi seems to have the biggest seat. Has anyone had any experience with them? What are the advantages and disadvantages of them?
Thanks Nicky.
p.s I did look into the mountain buggy, but is too expensive for the short amount of time that I need it.

Baby jogger seats are big, but the Nipper is very good! Very very light and easy to push. Another Mnetter 4 year old fits ok just about in it. Or if you want another maclaren, look at the XLR's they are much bigger.

Speedi seats are HUGE! They are quite reclined though, but then most 3 wheeler seats are.
Could also look for Jane Powertrack 360, they can be quite cheap now on eBay. They fold nicer than the Speedi.
Nippers are good but seats not as good for tall kids.
I can do you pics of my son in all of these if interested, mail me [email protected]

Thanks for your input. I did sit him in the nipper, as this was my first choice. But when sat in it the hood came very close to his head, and is very long. He couldn't see a great deal!
My email address is [email protected]. I'd love to see the speedi in action, thats so kind. Thanks you so much. x
